What is Semi-Permanent Make Up?

Semi Permanent Make-Up is a procedure which enhances a client’s natural beauty, giving facial features, shape & definition, without having to apply conventional make-up.

Colour pigments are placed just below the dermis of the skin for the purpose of creating lines of definition to enhance facial beauty. This service is custom designed for each individual client according to their face shape, skin-tone, eye and hair colour.

Will it hurt?

Everybody has a different pain threshold but in general the answer is not really. Most people feel very little discomfort as topical numbing creams are applied prior to and during procedures.

How long does a treatment take?

You should allow about an hour for each new treatment. You will have to return for a touch up after 4 weeks, but within 3 months of your initial treatment. One touch up is usually all that is needed, and this is included in the price, however, if extra touch ups are required this will be discussed with you by your Technician.

How long will it last?

Generally it will last up to five years, but will gradually fade in time. This is dependent on colours used and natural skin pigmentation. We recommend that you come back for a touch up every two years to keep your make up looking its best. Touch up procedures will be half the normal price.

What about after care?

You will be given both verbal and written instructions about after care, together with a pack of aftercare treatments to take home with you.
